Micromondes

Genesis: The micromonde (or microworld) is a specific digital space which gives to its inhabitant a complete autonomy in his learning process and discovery of the macro world. Based on subjective experimentation, processes and expressions it creates a mediated system of relations with the reality and its various inhabitants where it seems possible to interact, at a very local and personal level, with a global situation which, otherwise, appears out of touch and impact.

Kom.postation: Each of us possesses his strategies, processes and actions to connect with the world we live in and which is more and more following a globalised dynamism. This is a fact and now the question is: how to deal with this? In order to resist to a sterile homogenisation of the “World” as a unique entity, artists are creating a new system of mondialisation by connecting through various actions and new media their micromondes. We want to give room to this archipelago as an alternative map of our contemporary situation.

How?: From our transversal reading of the MediaImpact program, we noticed some echos, common or dissensual points between 2 artists, 1 activist and 1 theorician…we create couples and invite them to meet each other with a 3rd partner: a register open on a doble page where we place the words around which we would like the duet to travel, discovering their respective paths as well as their common. If you want to try: kom.post@kompost.me!
